Launch Screen

Launch screen icons must:

  • Have a simple design
  • Use a single object or logo on a solid colour background
  • Use NWIS colours

Launch screen app icons with a white background must use a coloured icon with a solid colour border.

The launch screen image icons must:

  • Have no rounded corners (iOS Human Interface Guidelines) though the viewable image border may have rounded corners
  • Be flattened with no transparency (iOS Human Interface Guidelines)
  • Be created in 1024px x 1024px resolution
  • Include a vector format copy as an SVG file (Material.io)
  • Include a graphics format copy as a PNG file (iOS Human Interface Guidelines)

Logos

The app design must use the NWIS logo as the home button icon, to ensure the NWIS brand appears on every page.

Do not use the same logo more than once on each page.

Colour

The app design must use the NWIS primary palette for text colour and the primary or secondary colour palettes for all other app UI elements, unless the designers generate an agreed exception.
